PROPOSED BID RECOMMENDATION
Request: requesting authorization for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (the "Preserves") to enter into a contract with Burling Builders, Inc., Chicago, Illinois.
Reason: Contract 13-80-03-003-C is for the Camp Sullivan Phase I Group Development. The proposed project is the redevelopment and new construction of the existing Camp Sullivan group camp. Work includes, but is not limited to, the renovation of existing bunkhouses, construction of new small cabins, new toilet/shower building, new picnic/program shelter, landscaping, development of trails/paths, site furnishings, utilities, site development, parking, signage and other related work as specified in the plans & specifications. Future phases of work (not included) will add family camp sites in phase II, and barn renovation in phase III.

Contract Period: Nine (9) months from notice to proceed.
