Comfort, Calmness, and Conservation, Little Red Schoolhouse, Willow Springs
Comfort, Calmness, and Conservation is a program geared towards therapeutic release. The public will engage in activities that help release stress, anxiety, and depression while also bringing entertainment, awareness of self, and exposure to the nature around them. Registration and facemasks required.

Celebrate National Public Lands Day at the Country’s first forest preserve! Stop by one, or all, of our six Nature Centers for self-guided and staff-guided activities & programs throughout the day. Make sure to participate in our Self Organized Litter Obliterators (SOLO) stewardship program as a way celebrate National Public Lands Day and give back to the preserves- Litter Obliterator Kits will be available at all locations. Stop by the welcome tables at each site upon arrival. Facemasks required. Registration may be required for certain programs - see details below.
