Summary: The Forest Preserves issued a Request for Proposals (Solicitation No. 25-53-014221) for the ability to purchase plumbing parts, fixtures, and equipment through qualified vendors. These contracts allow for the purchase of parts that are critical for routine maintenance of the facilities throughout the Forest Preserves’ 70,000 plus acres. Each vendor was evaluated by a review committee based on quality of products offered, pricing and overall value, a complete proposal meeting all material requirements of the RFP, and delivery and support capabilities. After having found both vendors qualified, the Forest Preserves recommends awarding a contract to these two (2) vendors that submitted proposals.
