Summary: The Department of Law Enforcement is proposing to extend its contract with Quicket Solutions for an additional year and to increase the contract amount by $3,000.00. This extension and increase will ensure continued access to a cloud-based evidence management system while the Department of Law Enforcement transitions to a new system from Mark43, Inc.
On September 9, 2025, the Forest Preserves Board of Commissioners approved Board Item No. 25-0307 for a Records Management System and an Evidence Management System for the Department of Law Enforcement with Mark43, Inc. Mark43’s Records and Evidence Management system is expected to be operational in the 3rd quarter of 2026. Once the Mark43 system is live, services from Quicket Solutions will no longer be required.
This contract extension with Quicket Solutions is a necessary interim measure to maintain uninterrupted evidence management capabilities and to ensure continuity during the transition period.
