Summary: The Forest Preserves issued a Request for Proposals (Solicitation No. 25-20-012405) for the ability to purchase Stihl Power Equipment, Parts, and Maintenance Services through authorized Stihl Power Equipment dealers. These contracts are critical to our departments that utilize Stihl Power Equipment to maintain over 70,000 acres of Forest Preserves.

 

The Forest Preserves is recommending awarding a contract to three (3) out of the four (4) vendors that submitted proposals following a competitive process wherein each vendor was evaluated based on quality of products and services offered, pricing and overall value, complete proposal meeting all material requirements of the RFP, and service delivery and support capabilities.
