Summary: Four three-year contracts were issued to four vendors under RFQ #22-80-08 dated March 25, 2022, Solicitation #22-80-007697 for cost estimating services for Forest Preserves’ capital projects on an as-needed basis, with a special focus on more complex building energy efficiency projects. Three (3) of eight (8) priority projects listed as priority projects in the 2022 RFQ have been completed and five are currently in design or about to start design. The RFQ stated that renewal options beyond three (3) years will be considered but will require approval by the Forest Preserves’ Board of Commissioners. All four (4) vendors are willing to extend on the same terms in their existing contracts.
