Title: PROPOSED LICENSE REQUEST Request: Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”), as Licensor to grant a License to the Village of Crestwood (“Crestwood”), Grantee, to locate, operate and maintain a trunk storm sewer and drainage basin in Rubio Woods near the southwest corner of 135th Street and Central Avenue as part of a larger flood control project with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District. The proposed stormwater infrastructure will replace an existing earthen berm of unknown origins that was placed on Forest Preserves land decades ago south of 135th Street behind the residential homes along South End Lane.
