Title: PROPOSED RESOLUTION APPROVAL OF A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT EXTENDING THE TERM OF A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT NEGOTIATED BETWEEN THE FOREST PRESERVES OF COOK COUNTY AND THE CHICAGO JOURNEYMEN PLUMBERS LOCAL UNION 130, U.A. WHEREAS, the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act (5 ILCS 315/1 et seq.) has established regulations regarding collective bargaining with a union; and WHEREAS, on April 5, 2022, the Board of Commissioners approved the collective bargaining agreement negotiated between the Forest Preserves of Cook County and the Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Local Union 130, U.A. (Board Item No. 22-0129) with an amendment approved on January 24, 2023 (Board Item No. 22-0497) and such collective bargaining agreement will expire December 31, 2024; and WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Agreement has been entered into between the Forest Preserves of Cook County and the Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Local Union 130, U.A. to extend the term of the collective bargaining agreement through December 31, 2025; and WHEREAS, salary adjustments and prevailing wage increases will be approved
